Dr. Ashley Mooney (Scofield) was raised in Genesee County, and is honored to have the opportunity to practice dentistry close to her home in LeRoy, NY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University, and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mooney (Scofield) has experience in many dental procedures with a focus on total patient care, education, and prevention, fitting nicely into the Summit Dental philosophy. Additionally, she has experience treating medically complex patients, patients with special needs, and dentistry in emergency and operating room settings.
Professionally, Dr. Mooney (Scofield) is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the 8th District Dental Society, and the UB Alumni Association.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Mooney (Scofield) enjoys cooking, singing, photography, playing the piano, and traveling with her fiancé, Justin. You may have heard Dr. Mooney (Scofield) sing with the Traditional Choir at Our Lady of Mercy Parish in LeRoy.
The interaction between the artistic and scientific components of dentistry has captivated Dr. Mooney (Scofield), and she is committed to providing quality, patient-centered care to her patients of all ages.
