Dr. Gburek

graduated from Purdue University with a degree in pharmacy and was licensed to practice in Michigan and Indiana. He then went on to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).With the goal of establishing roots in a wonderful family environment, as well as bringing modern dentistry to Wyoming County, Dr. Mike returned to his native Western New York in 1985. He and his wife settled their five children in Warsaw and Dr. Mike took over the dental practice of Dr. Willard Humphrey. As a dental professional, Dr. Mike is powered by his passionate belief in improving the quality of dental care and the quality of life for everyone in his hometown of Warsaw, NY.

Dr. Mike loves to give back to his community and actively participates in many organizations. He is Chairman of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Foundation Board, belongs to the Friends of Wadsworth Library, is a Livingston County Chamber member, and a Livingston-Wyoming ARC member. In addition, he has been a school board member, Kiwanis member, and partner with Rural Area Health Education Center (R-AHEC), in order to attract new dentists to Wyoming County. On top of that, Dr. Mike is a Lamaze instructor on prenatal dental care, a Wyoming County Community Action volunteer, and a member of St. Michael’s Parish.

Dr. Mike is also very active in his professional community and serves as a guest lecturer at University of Buffalo School of Dentistry. He belongs to the following professional organizations:

Outside of the practice and his work with the community, Dr. Mike loves spending time with his family, playing golf, photography, traveling, and is an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
